Discord is an app where you can talk to friends via text, voice and video calls. Originally intended for people who play video games, Discord is now open to everyone after rebranding itself. Staff noticed that other groups were using it, and adopted it. User will provide email and create password to sign up. Users can then join Discord servers, which are topic-based venues. It is also possible to send direct messages to other users. Once on the server, users can interact with each other through talk, text and video calls. Images and other files can also be sent with an 8 megabyte size limit for free accounts.
