The government has announced to provide sewing machines to women from backward classes. They are asking women to apply online for this program. The program is being conducted by D Devaraju Government Backward Classes Development Corporation for the year 2023-2024.
Because of this, a certain group of women who are not as rich as others have to fill up forms online to get sewing machines for free. Eligible women can apply online from January 5, 2023 to February 20, 2023 at selected locations in Bangalore. The government itself has started this program. Only women should apply to be considered. The program aims to help 50,000 women in each state.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi provides free sewing machines to women in India so that they can start their businesses and earn more money. This will help improve their lives and make them more independent. Women above 40 years can also apply for this scheme.
