Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25, an initiative by the Kotak Mahindra Group in collaboration with the Kotak Education Foundation, aims to support meritorious girl students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in India. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help them pursue professional undergraduate courses.

  • Academic Performance: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% or equivalent CGPA in their Class 12 board examinations.
  • Family Income: The annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
  • Course Enrollment: Candidates should have secured admission to the first year of professional undergraduate courses such as Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Integrated LLB (5 years), B. Pharmacy, B.Sc. Nursing, Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research in institutes like IISER, IISC (Bangalore), or other NAAC/NIRF accredited institutions for the academic year 2024-25.
  • Exclusions: Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Selected scholars will receive up to INR 1.5 lakh per year, which can be utilized to cover academic expenses including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, transportation, laptops, books, and stationery, until the completion of their professional graduation course.

  • Online Application: Eligible candidates can apply online through the Buddy4Study portal.
  • Registration: Log in with your registered ID on Buddy4Study. If not registered, create an account using your email, mobile number, or Gmail account.
  • Form Submission: Complete the ‘Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25’ application form by providing the required details and uploading relevant documents.
  • Review and Submit: After reviewing the entered details, submit the application.
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Income proof of parents/guardians
  • Parents’ ITR for FY 2023-24 (if available)
  • Fee structure for the academic year 2024-25
  • Bonafide student certificate/letter from college
  • College seat allocation document
  • College entrance examination scorecard
  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Death certificate of parent (for single parent/orphan candidates)
  • Photographs of the house
  • Initial shortlisting based on academic merit and financial background.
  • Top-performing candidates will undergo two rounds of interviews.
  • Final selection will be at the discretion of the Kotak Education Foundation.
