Omega Healthcare Walkin Drive for Freshers – Responsibilities
- Call payer (insurance) to resolve claims (denial/non-denial) after review of PMS, internal system and process towards resolution (payment, adjustment and self-payment).
- Identify potential process improvements, trends and issues and communicate to supervisor via calling.
- Follow workflow documentation, such as SOPs update tracker, issue log and trend log.
- Be a part of all training sessions to gain knowledge about RCM.
- Resolve complex patient account issues requiring system timeline comments, payer reimbursements and account transaction checks
- Identify accounts that do not require calling and can be determined by the analyst to resolve
- Logical thinking to identify trends, and solving accounts for error-free accounts
- Identify payer issues and lead special projects to collect claims data for payer reprocessing and escalate complex payment issues to the Chief Billing Specialist as required roles and responsibilities
